I have been working on this video for a couple of months now and I have to say I am extremely excited to share it with everyone. Originally, I had planned to release a 2016 Storm Timelapse video, but the storm season this year left a little more to be desired. 2016 was an incredible year for storms and tornadoes--I just didn't get that much. There is always next year. But 2016 did present itself with many more timelapse opportunities. In fact, I have shot and processed more timelapse from this year than the past two years! So when the time came to prepare for the end of the year I had an idea to show the 2016 Timelapse video. It took months to process and cull through the videos and then a couple of months to edit them to their final stage. The result is a compilation of timelapse video I've accumulated over this year. It features some of my favorite local locations like: Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge, St John's Chapel: Bomarton, TX, Quartz Mountain State Park, Copper Breaks State Park, and Palo Duro Canyon. There is also a fair amount from some of my extended trips to Grand Canyon National Park and White Sands National Monument. In addition to the amazing landscapes there are sequences of the milky way, star trails, and other night images. And, of course, we can't forget those storms. I have worked really hard on this project and I am very excited to hear your feedback. If you like this video feel free to share it with a friend. Thank you for supporting my work and enjoy the rest of your 2016!
To really get the best experience watch the video in 1080p or if your computer can handle it 4k!
